In Memorium

Here we remember members of the Guild who are no longer with us, and recall their deeds. We acknowledge all Centaur and Unicorn members, whatever their background and history.

Leif, Centaur

Cruelly struck down by an Ultimate Animate, while assisting King Dirk of Bereny to save the world.

Jocasta Silvermane, Centaur

Killed taking one risk too many while quelling the riot in the Catamorti Prison.

Rayland Givens, Centaur

Killed on the 2nd level of the Imaginarium by a mature Chill Dragon named Sargantrimpa. He was avenged when the dragon was killed later in the same day.

Firemane, Angpetu & Spiritmane, Centaurs

Killed by the Daemoni Amon-Saj in the Kyrian deserts.

Rainstorm, Centaur

Cause of death unknown.

Saeri Airhead, Centaur

Who had the dubious honour of being the first member of the Poldoon Border Scouts to die on active service, killed by a two-headed Orco in Fort Saluwedin.

Jeribelle Speedwell, Centaur

Killed by three of Lal's Undead Guardians in Kreskin'Lal's Tower,

Judah Steele-Stallion, Centaur

Killed by Skeletal Elites in Kreskin'Lal's Tower

Kellindel Warden, Centaur

Aspiring Centaur Mage and Guild deputy leader. Died of natural causes while making the journey to Kreskin’Lal’s Tower, although the hardship of the journey and the cold of Winterward were undoubtedly contributing factors.

Davino, Centaur

Another veteran member who travelled far only to fall victim to the deadly Mist Wraiths of Kreskin’Lal’s Tower. She is regrettably most famous as having twice been a winner of the Donkey Award, most recently for commissioning and wearing a pink leather saddle with tassles.

Juvaine Stormchaser, Centaur

Slain by a Mist Wraith in Kreskin’Lal’s Tower while defending Queen Juliette.

Dweomar, Centaur

After making the long journey from Icehaunt to Kreskin’Lal’s Tower, Dweomar was slain on the very threshold of the Tower’s entrance by the horde of mist wraiths that swarm around its exterior.

Ben Whitemane, Centaur Champion

Who had just achieved the status of Centaur Champion when he was killed by a named Vampire Lord in the second level of Red Mountain Keep.

Cassandra Lovemoon, Centaur

Killed by a Lapis Dragon on the 2nd level of Swinderlog Hole.

Brightmane, Unicorn Elder

Who was killed in an attack by multiple Furry Devils, equipped with Fiery Toasting Forks, on one of the lower levels of the Stormspire Volcano on the Kyrian border. That Brightmane has always been contentious is true, but he was well respected, and he helped pioneer Unicorn rights in Bereny. Unicorns achieved protected status thanks to Brightmane's contribution, and with the Crown's blessing he was appointed to the Monster Commission. He will be much missed - the Centaur Council honours his contribution to the Guild and all Unicorns in Bereny.

BellBellows , Centaur Stallion

Only a CC member for a few days, before dying in Strange Caves of Overlife in Kyr.

Zurich, Centaur

Who died fighting the Helltroops attacking Crownheart. Zurich was the son of the famous Centaur explorer Braemar and the twin brother of She-Kargo. He and his friend Sontor courageously set out on behalf of the City’s defenders as scouts to determine the location of the Helltroop hordes. Unfortunately Zurich came upon one horde unexpectedly and was overwhelmed by their numbers before he had a chance to withdraw.

Jancis Goldenmane and Willa Wildmane, Centaurs

Jamelia Goldenhorn, Unicorn

Foal, Centaur

Who fell in battle in King Slime's Keep, slain by Mutant Goblins.

Willa Wildmane was a long-standing companion of Queen Juliette. In her long adventuring career she lead an expedition into the Enchanted Forest to explore it on behalf of the Terin’Sha, during which her expedition entered and survived the infamous Uberwyrm Fortress. From there she journeyed to join the attack on King Slime’s Keep, where she was joined by her two younger companions Jancis and Jamelia.

Tragically Willa and Jancis died at a time when the Crown’s forces were on the verge of victory over the goblins of King Slime. Both centaurs were trying to exit from the Keep but were caught by surprise while waiting for others to get the Keep’s doors open.

Osseiyus and Daedilla, Centaur Jesters

Who fell in Noir’ Lair at the hands of the Dark Centaur Champion Lord Crazy Horse, whose magical bow rained death upon them. A double act in death, as they were in life.....

Alas poor Daedilla and Osseiyus!

I knew them well.

Two fellows of infinite jest,

Of most excellent fancy

They hath borne sundry persons on their backs a thousand times.

Where be their gibes now? Their gambols? Their songs?

Their flashes of merriment, that were wont to set the stable on a roar?

All the world's a stage,

and all we centaurs merely players

that have our exits and our entrances.

Amphion, Centaur

Who journeyed far from Bereny to the distant lands of the Frontier, and died there in circumstances  unknown to the Council.

Krateros, Centaur, slain in the dungeon beneath the city of Poldoon.

Lady Wraith, Centaur, slain in the Dungeon of Drax.

Sable, Centaur, slain in the Swinderlog area.

Xenubia, Centaur filly,

Brother to Agorix, place of death not known

Zygopetalum, Centaur Filly, died location unknown.

Shan Dee the Bitter, Centaur

Who was one of the Council’s most controversial members, and a trenchant critic of the leadership of former Guild Leader Fritz Gosama. Reported to have died from causes unknown somewhere in the Great Forest - but who can say for sure what her fate was?
