(+5) magical versions of the Centaur broadbow and Centaur crossbow are known to exist.

Crossbows gain a +10 to hit bonus.

And if you wear your Centaur Council half-gauntlets while using a bow, you do get their damage bonus.

Centaur Weaponsmith in Lineoth

For any Centaurs visiting the Centaur city of Lineoth in the Enchanted Forest, there is a Centaur Weaponsmith there who sells the following items:

B 3786 - Centaur Crossbow - cost 250

B 3787 - Centaur Crossbow +5 - cost 1250

B 133  - Centaur Broadbow - cost 250

(*) Equus barding also provides 1pt of Damage reduction

Non-magical barding is sold by all traders and adventuring supply shops. Magical full plate barding is only available from Stables. Chaos barding is only known to be available from Centaur Armourers in Lineoth (although there are also reported to be Centaur armourers in Centauria who can make this).

Equus Barding is sold exclusively by the Centaur Council at Centaur Meadows only and is available to members at the reduced rate. It has a special cloth-padded interior which helps it absorb damage. However, this does make it more vulnerable to fire-based attacks.
