Expedition to the Golden Coast

In the Berenian year 520, word reached Bereny that an expedition from the White Tower had discovered a new land to the east of the jungles of the Frontier. This land, known as the Golden Coast, had previously been known only through the most vague of traveller tales. It is said that to the east of the Golden Coast there is only unending sea.

The reports attracted the interest of Chaldan Ironhoof - could there be some part of the centaur diaspora in this distant land? Although there were no reports of centaurs or unicorns in Golden Coast, only the most basic information has filtered back to Bereny. At the very least there are known to be centaurs among the explorers who have journeyed there from Bereny and Frontier, who could benefit from a Centaur Council presence there.

He therefore made a call for volunteers to travel the long and interesting route to this far-eastern land, and newly-appointed Centaur Council deputy Swain stepped forward to lead the mission.

The expedition is now assembling at Mirrormane, and will depart shortly.
