-About this site

THE ASSEMBLY - Homepage What’s all this then? - About this site
The Assembly is a player-run organisation within the PBM (play-by-mail) fantasy game Dungeonworld, run by Madhouse UK. For more information about PBM in general and Dungeonworld in particular see Madhouse’s website.

Madhouse UK are not, however, responsible for the contents of this site.

The Assembly is an official guild within the game, which means that characters who are members receive in-game recognition of their status in the form of exclusive abilities and items. However like all Guilds within the game it is run by players.

For more information about Guilds and a list of all official Guilds see here.

The Assembly was founded in 1999 by Derrian Moreton (in the character of the Archmage Golgoleth), and subsequently run by René Ruinaard in the character of the Archmage Mancuso. In 2005 running of the Guild was taken over by myself, Ian Edwards.
