Introduction to the Assembly Archive
“As many will know, The Great Library have embarked on an ambitious project to collect, collate and preserve from loss all works of lore in the Kingdom. We at the Assembly applaud this mission and the diligence with which the Great Library pursue it, and urge all our members to assist them.
However we of the Assembly know that knowledge alone is not enough, and that we must strive for understanding of that knowledge if we are to achieve the goals of the Assembly.
There would therefore be little point in presenting a Library which was but a pale shadow of that of the Great Library. Instead we have sought to present both knowledge, and understanding of that knowledge, and have concentrated upon that which is of concern to enchanters.”
